Dispensary loyalty marketing services

Dispensary loyalty marketing is the design and running of a rewards program — points, tiers, offers — plus the email and SMS that keep members buying. Dispenza designs the program, connects it to your menu and POS, runs the messages that keep it moving, and reports repeat orders in the same monthly report as your rankings.

Local SEO, menu-connected websites, email, SMS and loyalty under one contract.

Loyalty marketing

Most cannabis loyalty marketing is bought as software and left alone. The licence runs. The program sits at whatever earn rate was set on day one, the welcome text goes out once, and nobody segments the list because nobody owns that job.

What an operator actually wants is someone to run the program, not another company selling the tool.

Three outcomes the service is built around

A program structure that pays

Dispensary retention marketing starts with the math. We set the earn rate, the burn value, the tier thresholds and the expiry rules against your margin, then design offers that move a category rather than discount the whole store. A tier a customer can reach in three visits behaves differently from one they reach in thirty. We model both before launch.

Connected to your menu and POS

Points accrue at the register and online without staff typing anything. The live integrations page describes it as "Menu, POS and loyalty systems talking to each other" — see dispensary POS and menu integrations. If you already run a loyalty vendor, we integrate or migrate; "platform migrations" is a listed line on that page.

Kept alive by email and SMS segments

A program without messages is a database. Members get segmented sends by tier, last visit and category: the balance nudge before points expire, the win-back after 45 days, the tier-up note with a reason to come in this week. The sending sits with our dispensary email marketing and dispensary SMS marketing services, under the same contract.

What dispensary loyalty program management includes

Four cards. All run by Dispenza for you, on the same SGEN platform as your site, email and SMS, under one contract.

Program design

Tier ladder, earn and burn rules, welcome bonus, birthday and anniversary rewards, referral mechanics, and the sign-up flow at the counter and in the menu. Delivered as a written program spec your staff can read in five minutes.

Ongoing dispensary loyalty program management

Monthly offer calendar, balance and expiry nudges, tier reviews, fraud and abuse checks, and budtender scripts for enrolment. The program changes with your menu and your quarter, not once at launch.

Integration and migration

Connection to the POS and menu so points post automatically; migration of balances and members from an existing loyalty vendor where the vendor allows export. Vendor names on the integrations page are third-party trademarks; partnership status is stated only where confirmed.

Reporting that proves repeat orders

Repeat rate, member versus non-member basket, redemption rate and breakage, reported monthly beside your local rankings in marketing reports. Budget goes to the tier and the message that brought the customer back.

Loyalty runs on the same platform as your SGEN site, email and SMS, under one contract: one member record, one report, one point of contact.

5 NAMED CASE STUDIES, MEASURED IN LOCAL SEARCH, CALLS, DIRECTIONS AND VISITS

500+ dispensary sites built across the country, all on SGEN. The retention services run under the same contract as those sites.

The live case pages measure local search, calls, direction requests and website visits; none of them yet prints a loyalty metric. We will not invent one.

The stack, collapsed

The rented version is a loyalty SaaS, an SMS vendor, an email tool and a retainer, each with its own login and none with responsibility for repeat orders. The loyalty licence is a monthly line of its own before anyone runs it.

Dispenza is the dispensary loyalty marketing agency that also runs your site and search. Loyalty, email and SMS come under one contract with one point of contact — your dedicated campaign strategist — and one monthly report. The program is designed against your menu because the same team built the menu page.

FAQ

What are the benefits of having a loyalty program?

For an operator, a loyalty program does three things. It gives you a customer record you own, with purchase history, instead of an anonymous ticket. It gives you a reason to message that customer that is not a discount for everyone. And it gives you a measurable repeat rate, so retention can be managed like a channel instead of hoped for. The benefit shows up as returning members per month, tracked in your report.

How do loyalty points work?

A member earns points per dollar at an earn rate you set, and spends them at a burn value you set. Illustrative example, not a client result: at 1 point per dollar and 100 points worth $5, a $60 basket earns 60 points, worth $3, a 5% give-back. Your program's own rates replace these in the spec. Expiry rules and breakage, the points never redeemed, lower the real cost below the headline rate.

Do you replace our current loyalty platform?

Either. If your current vendor integrates with your POS and menu and allows export, we can run the program on it and take over design, offers and messaging. If it does not, we migrate members and balances to a platform that does. "Platform migrations" is a listed line on our integrations page. The decision is made on your data and your contracts, not on a preference for one vendor.

Is the program compliant?

Rules on discounts, free product, points for purchases and marketing messages differ by state, and some states restrict rewards tied to cannabis purchases. We design the structure to your state's rules before launch, and the sending follows the consent and quiet-hours rules covered on our dispensary SMS marketing page and in the cannabis marketing compliance guide. Your licence counsel signs off on the final terms.
