Services
Ten licenses answer for the whole state and the doors under them are earned on enrolment rather than opened at will, so the pharmacy that gets found first and remembered longest keeps the share. These twelve do both jobs for yours: three to rank it, four to build the site and the brand, three to bring your buyer back, two to run the numbers. One contract, one team, and the plans below show which modules each carries.

Single-location dispensaries · multi-location dispensaries and MSOs · delivery dispensaries.
Nobody in Louisiana creates a cannabis buyer. A physician does, one recommendation at a time, and no budget you spend adds a name to that list. What you can move is where those buyers spend. Here is the size of that fight, and our move on each figure.
Above, four clients’ day zero against the month, in Share of Local Voice: the share of the local pack a store holds for "Dispensary Near Me" across its trade area.
The license structure — one marijuana pharmacy authorized for each of the nine public-health regions, a tenth license besides, satellite locations earned on patient enrolment against a ceiling of about thirty dispensing locations — is the Louisiana Department of Health Cannabis Program's published medical marijuana page, read on 9 September 2026, together with the department's January 2026 rules. The state population is the US Census Bureau's Vintage 2024 estimate. No count of open pharmacies is printed here and none is asserted: no such figure was verified against a department publication on that date, so the license count is used instead. No parish-level figure is asserted either.
Ten licenses, and doors are earned.
The state authorizes one marijuana pharmacy for each of its nine health regions, plus a tenth license, and further doors open on patient enrolment rather than appetite. So opening is not the lever here, for you or for anyone else, which leaves a single thing moving: which three pins a buyer sees when she searches, and whose door she taps. Putting your pin in that three, for a keyword set and radius we agree in writing, is what we guarantee.
Nine regions, and yours is not a town.
A public-health region is a block of parishes, not a neighborhood: one pharmacy answers for the whole of it, so the buyer choosing you is usually deciding from somewhere you have never traded, and she taps whichever door the map shows her first. That is why your Google Business Profile, a page for each parish you serve and the citations under both are what we work every month, and the rank grid we report against is drawn to those parishes, not the state.
The sale you lose goes nowhere you can see.
With one licensee to a region, the buyer you miss is not walking into another pharmacy. She buys a hemp product in an ordinary shop, she buys across a state line, or she quietly stops coming back, and every one is a purchase made without you. Taking it back is search first, then a site that shows your shelf, then the email, SMS and loyalty that make the second visit automatic, on one contract with one report telling you which of the three paid.
Most dispensaries rent their marketing from four vendors and hope the pieces talk to each other. They rarely do.
Louisiana authorizes one marijuana pharmacy for each of nine health regions and a tenth license besides, so 4,597,740 residents are served by a list of doors short enough to read in a breath, and the buyer who cannot find yours does not find a rival pharmacy — she finds a hemp shelf, a trip across a state line, or nothing at all, which is a sale you are quietly paying four separate vendors to lose.
You know the rules you sell under better than any agency does, so this page does not restate them. If you want the references, both are in the library: dispensary advertising rules by state and cannabis marketing compliance.
Your stack is rented from four vendors.
A marketplace listing, a menu vendor, a loyalty or SMS tool and a generic retainer, each with its own login. Fix: one platform (SGEN) and one agency, with the site, the menu and the campaigns in one place.
Local SEO is an upsell tier elsewhere.
The work that puts you in the local pack for "Dispensary Near Me" is often gated behind the top plan. Fix: ranking work is included from the first dollar. Localized on-page SEO, 100+ off-page profiles and Google Business Profile management are in both plans.
Menu traffic leaks to marketplaces.
A shopper who finds your store on a third-party listing is that listing’s customer. Fix: menu-connected SGEN sites keep the order on your domain, with staff updating the menu themselves.
Four invoices, four account managers.
Nobody owns the result. Fix: one point of contact, one monthly report showing what ran, what it cost and what it returned.
Web design and development are included — no separate build fee.
Local SEO, menu-connected websites, email, SMS and loyalty under one contract.
New Frontier Data (2026-06-21) put one operator’s cost per new customer at about $23. So we manage the channel that costs the least per visit: the local pack.
Our currency is Share of Local Voice (SoLV) for "Dispensary Near Me" — the share of local-pack visibility your store holds for that search across its trade area, reported with its window and case page.
The twelve services above are the same in every market; what changes for you here is the scope, and in Louisiana the scope is neither the state nor your region as it is drawn on paper. It is the parishes your buyers actually come from. Your keyword set, your radius, your pin count and the shape of the monthly report we write are drawn to that catchment, and the top-three guarantee is written to the same grid.
There is no delivery block here because no Louisiana delivery rule has been verified to the department; if your permit covers home delivery, bring it to the demo call and we scope the service-area grid to it there rather than to a statewide count.
If yours is the only door in your region.
One license to a region sounds like safety, and it is the reason a pharmacy here can go years without building the search side at all: nothing visible is taking the sale. Something is. We scope the work to the map your door actually sits on — its own keyword set, its own Google Business Profile, its own rank grid across the parishes your buyers come from, with Share of Local Voice for "Dispensary Near Me" reported point by point every month — so you can see the searches you are not winning and what each of them is worth to you. See marketing for the single-location dispensary.
If you have earned satellite doors.
A satellite opens when your enrolment says it can, so every door you add is one you worked for, and it lands in a town with its own searches and its own map. The program mirrors that shape: one SGEN domain with a store selector, one page and one Google Business Profile per address, one citation set per address, and a roll-up report with a row per door, so a location holding its share and one quietly losing it are never averaged into a single line. The guarantee is written the same way — per address, per keyword set, per radius. See marketing for multi-location dispensaries and MSOs.
A region you never have to fight for changes what your marketing money is for, and these six guides answer that, each hung on one Louisiana fact and each ending in what it costs you and what we do about it. The offer under all of them holds: top three in the local pack, guaranteed on a keyword set and radius we put in writing. Each guide is linked if you want the method before the call.
Budgeting where the clinician, not the campaign, makes the buyer
Growth spend assumes a category that lifts everyone. Here it cannot: a buyer exists when a clinician recommends her, and no campaign you run adds one to that list. What is actually for sale is the share of those buyers who spend with you rather than somewhere else, and share is bought in a fixed order — local search first, the site and the menu second, retention third, and one report that says what ran and what it returned. Both our plans put those on a single contract, so you are never guessing which of the three earned the money. See the guide: the dispensary marketing guide.
Your profile is the storefront for parishes you never see
When one pharmacy answers for a whole public-health region, most of the buyers deciding on you have never stood in your doorway. They are reading your Google Business Profile from a parish you have never worked, deciding on hours, product categories, photographs and whether anyone has answered a question this year. That listing is the storefront, and a thin one loses buyers who never appear anywhere you would think to look. We keep it as a working surface — categories, products, posts, photographs and questions, maintained monthly — with Share of Local Voice on your terms reported point by point, so you can see which parishes you hold and which you do not. See the guide: Google Business Profile for dispensaries.
The shut channels are a budget instruction
Louisiana bars billboards, television and radio aimed at the general public, and allows marketing to physicians and to licensed pharmacies. Read as a rule, that is a restriction. Read as a budget, it tells you before you spend a dollar finding out the expensive way that your money has to go where you are not buying an audience at all: the map, your own site, and the list you own. That is the work we sell here — search, the site behind it, and the email, SMS and loyalty that make it pay twice — and none of it leans on a channel you are not allowed to buy. See the guide: dispensary advertising rules by state.
Flower made this a repeat-purchase business
Smokable flower reached Louisiana shelves in 2022 and became the best-selling category in the program, which changes the arithmetic of your year: flower is bought again, and again, by the same names. A buyer who came once and never heard from you again is not a lost sale, she is a lost year of sales. The email list you own, the SMS for a drop that will not wait, and a loyalty tier that makes the second visit worth more than the first are what we run against those names every month, and the report tells you what each returned. See the guide: the dispensary email marketing playbook.
Four invoices, and none of them shrink
A menu tool, a texting platform, a listings service and an agency retainer each bill you the same whether your enrolment grows or stalls, none of the four speaks to the others, and you pay a fifth cost in your own hours reconciling them. In a state whose door count is this short, that is the most expensive way to buy the fight. What each rented piece really costs, from dated third-party sources, is in the guide; our plans put the site, the ranking work and the reporting on one contract, with the web build included and no separate build fee. See the guide: what dispensary marketing costs.
The page a clinician can hand over
The person deciding where a new buyer goes first is often not the buyer at all: it is the clinician being asked where to go, and the pharmacy named is usually the one that is easy to point at. That makes your site a referral tool as much as a shop window — what you carry, how a first visit works, what to bring, and a page a busy practice can hand over without making a phone call. We design and build that on SGEN and wire it to your menu, so the shelf a buyer reads is the shelf you actually have, and the same build carries the print and brand work behind it. See the guide: the dispensary website design guide.

Do you guarantee rankings?
A written top-3 local ranking guarantee — Dispenza’s own offer; the keywords, radius and time window are set in your agreement (see terms). Terms apply. Ask for the guarantee terms on your demo call before you sign anything. The guarantee covers the local keyword set agreed for your trade area, over a defined window.
Which platform are the sites built on?
Built on SGEN — the platform every one of Dispenza’s 500+ dispensary sites runs on. SGEN is Dispenza’s in-house website platform, so the team that hosts your site is the team running your campaigns. Menu-connected sites are built to be updated by staff.
What does it cost?
Pricing is scoped to your locations and both plans above list every module in full, with the site build included and no separate build fee. A quote for your store count takes one demo call. See how pricing works.
There is one pharmacy license for my whole region. Why would I pay for marketing?
Because the sale you are missing is not going to another pharmacy. It goes to a hemp product bought in an ordinary shop, to a purchase across a state line, or to a buyer who came once and never came back, and none of that arrives as a competitor you can point at, which is exactly why it goes unfought. We take it back with local search, a site that shows your shelf, and the email, SMS and loyalty that earn the second visit, and we report to you every month on what each of them returned.
Our buyers come from a doctor's recommendation, not from Google. Does search still matter?
The recommendation says a pharmacy is an option; it rarely settles which door, and what happens next is a search on a phone. That search shows three pins, and the one she taps is usually the one whose profile answers her questions about hours, products and what a first visit involves. Winning that moment is the Google Business Profile, the pages under it and the citations behind both — and on an agreed keyword set and radius, with the terms in writing, top three in the local pack is what we guarantee.
Louisiana bars billboards, television and radio to the public. What can you actually run for us?
Everything that does not depend on buying an audience, which here is most of what works: the map and the profile, a site wired to your menu, the email and SMS list you own, loyalty that pays for the second visit, and the print and brand work that speaks to clinicians and to licensed pharmacies rather than to the public. We do not buy media for you and we do not need to. The reporting shows what each surface returned, and the ranking half of it carries our written top-three guarantee, scoped to the keyword set and radius in your agreement.
We may add satellite locations. Does the program change?
It scales by address, not by state. Each door you open gets its own page, its own Google Business Profile, its own citation set and its own row in the monthly report, on one SGEN domain with a selector so your buyers land on the right door instead of a generic home page. The scope and the guarantee move with it — per address, per keyword set, per radius — so a location holding its ground and one that is slipping are never averaged into a single number you cannot act on.
What do you measure, and how would I know it worked?
Share of Local Voice for the terms you actually sell on, read across a grid of points in your catchment and reported point by point rather than as one rank, with calls, direction requests and order starts from your site beside it. The keyword set, the radius and the window go into your agreement before anything starts, and we walk you through the terms on the demo call so you know exactly what we are held to.
Book straight into the calendar. Bring your store count and your address; you leave the call with a quote scoped to your locations and the guarantee terms to read before you sign.

Every market page is written to its own store count and its own map, and the guarantee is written to yours.
