Marketing for multi-location dispensaries and MSOs

Every store in its own top 3. One platform per store, one contract, one report.

Multi location dispensary SEO is a different job from ranking one storefront. Each store competes in its own local pack, against its own neighbours, on its own Google Business Profile. Dispenza ranks every store separately, launches each one on the same SGEN platform, and reports all of them in one monthly view. You stop paying per-store agencies and per-store site builds, and you can see which stores are winning "Dispensary Near Me".

Three problems every multi-store operator brings

Stores rank unevenly

The flagship holds the pack; the second and fourth stores do not appear. The cause is usually structural: one website with one address, one profile worked and three neglected, and no page on the domain that belongs to the store two towns over. The fix is per-location: one landing page per store on the same domain, one Google Business Profile per pin, worked to the same checklist every month.

Per-store agencies and rebuilds

Growth by acquisition brings a different website, a different menu vendor and a different agency for each store. Every launch is a new build; every report is a new format. On one platform, a new store is cloned from the last one: same templates, same menu integration, same tracking, new address and menu. Multi state operator marketing gets cheaper per store as the count rises, not more expensive.

No comparable numbers

Four stores, four dashboards, no way to say which one is winning. Roll-up reporting fixes this with the same five lines per store — local rank, Share of Local Voice for "Dispensary Near Me", calls, direction requests and orders — and one page that ranks the stores against each other.

Underneath all three is the stack question. All Dispenza client sites run on SGEN — the platform and the agency in one contract — with local ranking for every store from the first dollar, not gated to a top tier.

What multi location dispensary SEO does per store

Each capability below is a live line in the Dispenza deliverables set, applied per location.

Localized on-page SEO per store page

Each store gets its own page set on the shared SGEN domain: location page, neighbourhood pages where the trade area warrants them, and the store's menu categories as indexable pages. Titles, headings and copy carry the store's city and the local keyword set. Details of the on-page work are on the dispensary SEO page.

100+ off-page SEO profiles per location

Citations and directory profiles are built per address, not per brand, so each pin has its own consistent name, address and phone across the sources Google reads. A chain with six stores gets six profile sets.

Google Business Profile management per pin

Categories, services, photos, posts, Q&A and review replies are worked on every profile every month, and duplicate or spam listings near each store are reported. The local pack is a profile ranking first; the method is on the dispensary local SEO page.

SGEN store pages with a selector

Shoppers pick their store once and see that store's menu, hours and deals. Staff at each location edit their own page. New locations are added on the same platform without a rebuild. See the dispensary websites built this way.

Monthly and quarterly reporting with attribution

One report, one row per store, the same five lines. Quarterly reviews compare stores, move budget and set the next 90 days. The report format is on the marketing reports page.

What else comes under the contract

This is one of three persona pages: single-location, multi-location and MSO, and delivery. A dispensary marketing agency for MSOs has to cover more than ranking, and the same contract does:

Proof from multi-location operators

Double Dogs, Montana, four locations — a live Dispenza client site: ddcanna.com, one domain with a store selector and a page set per location.

FLWR Co, two locations: +11x increase in direction requests — FLWR Co case page KPI tile. Read the FLWR Co case study for the method.

Both are two- to four-store operators running one domain, one page set per store and one Google Business Profile per pin, the structure described above. Per-store splits go to each client in their own roll-up report; every figure printed here is the case page's own KPI tile.

FAQ

Do you build one site or one per store?

One site on SGEN with one page set per store. Shared brand, shared templates, one domain that gains authority from every location. Each store has its own location page, its own menu connected to its own POS, and its own Google Business Profile pointing at its own page. Separate domains per store are possible when an acquired brand must keep its name, but the default is one domain, many stores.

How do you report across states?

One monthly report with one row per store, the same five lines everywhere: local rank for the store's keyword set, Share of Local Voice for "Dispensary Near Me", calls, direction requests and orders. State differences show up in what a store may say in its posts and deals, and the compliance checks are applied per state. An MSO marketing agency has to make stores comparable, and the same lines in the same order is how.

Can you take over some stores and not others?

Yes. Pricing is scoped to your locations, so a contract can start with the stores that need ranking help and add the rest later. Stores on another platform can be moved onto SGEN one at a time, with the menu integration and tracking cloned from the first store. The report covers only the stores under contract, so comparisons stay fair.

Do you work in every state?

We work with licensed cannabis dispensaries across the country, and in Canada. Each store's plan is built to its own state's advertising rules and its own local market. Book a demo with your store list and we will confirm fit for each location.

Plan fit

Pricing is scoped to your locations; every module in both plans is listed in full. For a multi-store operator that means one contract across every store, one platform, one strategist, and a report that ranks your stores against each other. See how pricing works and talk to a rep to get yours. The full service list is on the dispensary marketing services page.
