The doors here are few and the patients are already counted, so the counter that gets found first and remembered longest keeps its share. These twelve do both jobs for yours: three to rank it, four to build it, three to keep its patient coming back, two to run the numbers, all on one contract, and the plans below show which modules each carries.

Nobody in Georgia is making new cannabis buyers. The market is low-THC oil, sold to registered patients through a short list of licensed doors, and every visit one of them pays a rival is one your till did not see. Here is the size of that fight, and our move on each figure.
Above, four clients’ day zero against the month, in Share of Local Voice: the share of the local pack a store holds for "Dispensary Near Me" across its trade area.
The dispensing count is the figure reported in a NORML summary of the program dated 8 July 2026: 63 participating independent pharmacies plus 19 vertically-integrated pharmacy locations, the 82 used here. The Georgia Access to Medical Cannabis Commission's own dispensary map, last updated 5 August 2026, published no machine-readable total when it was checked, so no Commission headline figure is claimed and the reported sum is labelled as reported. Senate Bill 220's opening of dispensing to Georgia's 400-plus independent pharmacies, the 5% THC ceiling, the six-location limit per production licensee and the advertising limits are the Commission's material and O.C.G.A. Title 16, Chapter 12, Article 9. The population is the US Census Bureau's Vintage 2024 estimate. All were read on 9 September 2026. No county count of participating pharmacies appears here, because none could be verified against the Commission's own published map.
82 dispensing counters, 11.18 million residents.
63 participating independent pharmacies and 19 licensee-operated pharmacy locations were reported dispensing low-THC oil in 2026, against 11,180,878 residents and no adult-use trade. Your next patient is already registered and filling somewhere, and she picks her counter the way everyone does: she searches, and taps one of the three the map puts in front of her. Putting your pin in that three, for an agreed keyword set and radius, is what we guarantee.
The doors can multiply. The patients cannot.
Senate Bill 220 opened low-THC dispensing to Georgia's 400-plus independent pharmacies, and most have not taken it up yet. The pharmacy down the road can start dispensing without opening anything new, and your share of a fixed list of buyers falls the day it does. The cheapest year to take a map position is the one before the field fills, which is why we start on your Google Business Profile, your pages and a rank grid across your radius, reported every month.
One product, dispensed from scattered counters.
The program is low-THC oil capped at 5% THC, with no smokable flower, dispensed from pharmacy counters scattered across the state rather than storefront rows. So your patient searches in the product's words, not a shop's, and the three pins she gets are the counters nearest and best listed to her. We build your keyword set from that language, draw a rank grid across your own radius and report your Share of Local Voice on it monthly - the grid, keyword set and radius your guarantee is written to.
Most dispensaries rent their marketing from four vendors and hope the pieces talk to each other. They rarely do.
Georgia's 82 dispensing counters, most of them independent pharmacies handing low-THC oil to registered patients with no adult-use trade behind them, are dividing a fixed list of buyers across 11.18 million residents, so an extra patient for you comes off a rival counter rather than out of a growing category, and paying four separate vendors to fight for her is the expensive way to fight.
You know the rules you sell under better than any agency does, so this page does not restate them. If you want the references, both are in the library: dispensary advertising rules by state and cannabis marketing compliance.
Your stack is rented from four vendors.
A marketplace listing, a menu vendor, a loyalty or SMS tool and a generic retainer, each with its own login. Fix: one platform (SGEN) and one agency, with the site, the menu and the campaigns in one place.
Local SEO is an upsell tier elsewhere.
The work that puts you in the local pack for "Dispensary Near Me" is often gated behind the top plan. Fix: ranking work is included from the first dollar. Localized on-page SEO, 100+ off-page profiles and Google Business Profile management are in both plans.
Menu traffic leaks to marketplaces.
A shopper who finds your store on a third-party listing is that listing’s customer. Fix: menu-connected SGEN sites keep the order on your domain, with staff updating the menu themselves.
Four invoices, four account managers.
Nobody owns the result. Fix: one point of contact, one monthly report showing what ran, what it cost and what it returned.
Web design and development are included — no separate build fee.
Local SEO, menu-connected websites, email, SMS and loyalty under one contract.
New Frontier Data (2026-06-21) put one operator’s cost per new customer at about $23. So we manage the channel that costs the least per visit: the local pack.
Our currency is Share of Local Voice (SoLV) for "Dispensary Near Me" — the share of local-pack visibility your store holds for that search across its trade area, reported with its window and case page.
The twelve services above are the same in every market; what changes for your business is the scope, and in Georgia the scope is never the state. Your keyword set, your radius and the shape of your monthly report are written to the town your patients actually come from, and the top-three guarantee is written to that same scope.
There is no delivery block here because no Georgia delivery fact was verified for this market. If you take low-THC oil to patients as well as handing it across a counter, bring that side of the business to the demo call and the service-area grid is drawn to the routes you actually run.
If you dispense from one counter.
Most of the doors in this program are independent pharmacies, and yours competes with the other pharmacies your patients can reach, not with a statewide total. So we scope the work to the map your counter actually sits on: its own keyword set, its own Google Business Profile under the right category, its own pages for what you carry, and a rank grid across the radius your patients come from, with Share of Local Voice for the searches they type reported point by point every month. In a field this thin, one position gained is a patient who used to fill somewhere else. See marketing for the single-location dispensary.
If you hold a production license.
A production licensee may open up to six dispensing locations and no more, so you cannot buy your way to coverage by opening a seventh; every extra patient has to be won on the map instead. We mirror that shape: one SGEN domain with a location selector, one page and one Google Business Profile per location, one citation set per address, and a roll-up report with a row for each of them, so a counter holding its ground and one quietly losing it are never averaged into the same line. The guarantee is written the same way, per location, per keyword set, per radius, rather than one number for the group. See marketing for multi-location dispensaries and MSOs.
Georgia leaves you two public surfaces worth the name: the signage at your door and your own informational website. So the guides that earn their place here are the ones about being found and being remembered, each hung on one Georgia fact and each ending in what it costs you and what we do about it. The guarantee stays what it is throughout: top three, written to an agreed keyword set and radius.
The profile is the door your patient sees first
A patient looking for somewhere to fill in your town gets a map with three pins on it and a profile under each one, and that profile decides which of the three she taps: the category you chose, the hours, the products listed, the photos, the questions answered. In Georgia, where dispensing runs through pharmacies rather than through dispensaries, the category and the wording you pick are doing more work than they would anywhere else, because they are what tells a patient your counter exists at all. We claim it, fill it and keep it fed for you, and report where your pin sits every month. See the guide: Google Business Profile for dispensaries.
A short list is easier to lead than a long one
A thin field cuts both ways. Your patients have fewer counters to sort through, which means the three pins that answer their search are worth proportionally more to whoever holds them, and holding one here is not the trench war it is in a state with thousands of doors. Ranking is won in the same unglamorous order every time, profile then pages then on-page work then citations, and doing it out of order wastes the year. Dispensary SEO is the first thing we start for you, because a position that takes a season to win is one you then hold cheaply. See the guide: the dispensary SEO guide.
One of the two surfaces you are left with
Georgia limits what a licensed dispensing business may say in public to the signage at its location and an informational website, which makes your site less a brochure than the whole shop window. It has to load fast on a phone, say plainly what you carry and who may buy it, show the hours, and put the call or the direction request one tap away. Most sites we are handed do none of that, and every visitor they lose is a patient who fills somewhere else. Your build is included in the contract we sign, with no separate site fee. See the guide: the dispensary website design guide.
The naming line the hemp shops crossed
Since 1 July 2024 a retailer selling consumable hemp may not represent itself as a dispensary of low-THC oil unless it holds a dispensing license. Read as a rule that is somebody else's problem; read as a buying spec it is your opening, because the shops that were catching your patients' searches with that word have to stop using it. We audit your title tags, your Google Business Profile category and the wording on your own site, so the licensed counter is the one that ranks for those searches and your pin is the one answering them. See the guide: dispensary advertising rules by state.
Patients refill on a cycle, and the map does not know it
A registered patient is not a browsing shopper. She comes back on a rhythm, and the counter she used last time keeps the visit unless something goes wrong or somebody else is easier, which makes the list you own the cheapest asset in this market. An email in the right week, naming the product she actually buys, is not something a rival can outbid you for, and Georgia's narrow advertising options make it more valuable still. We build the flows, write the sends and report what each one returned to you. See the guide: the dispensary email marketing playbook.
Four invoices, one thin market
A menu tool, a texting platform, a hosting bill and an agency retainer each bill you the same whether your counter had a good month or an empty one, and none of the four talks to the others, so the flat cost of renting a stack climbs as a share of a small till. In a market this narrow that is the most expensive way to buy the fight. What each rented piece actually costs, from dated third-party sources, is in the guide; both of our plans put the site, the ranking work and the reporting on one contract. See the guide: what dispensary marketing costs.

Do you guarantee rankings?
A written top-3 local ranking guarantee — Dispenza’s own offer; the keywords, radius and time window are set in your agreement (see terms). Terms apply. Ask for the guarantee terms on your demo call before you sign anything. The guarantee covers the local keyword set agreed for your trade area, over a defined window.
Which platform are the sites built on?
Built on SGEN — the platform every one of Dispenza’s 500+ dispensary sites runs on. SGEN is Dispenza’s in-house website platform, so the team that hosts your site is the team running your campaigns. Menu-connected sites are built to be updated by staff.
What does it cost?
Pricing is scoped to your locations and both plans above list every module in full, with the site build included and no separate build fee. A quote for your store count takes one demo call. See how pricing works.
Georgia is low-THC oil only. Is there enough of a market here to spend on?
That depends on what you are buying. Growth is not for sale: there is no adult-use trade, no flower, and the patients are already registered and already filling somewhere. Share is for sale, and it is cheaper to take in a thin field than in a crowded one, because the pins that answer a search are a short list and the field competing for them is short too. We report where your pin sits across your own radius every month, so you watch the share move instead of guessing at it.
We are an independent pharmacy, not a dispensary. Does any of this apply to us?
It applies more, not less. Georgia was the first state in the country to dispense medical cannabis through licensed independent pharmacies, so your patients are searching for something the map has not finished sorting out, and the counter that gets found is the one whose profile, category and pages say plainly what it dispenses and to whom. That is ordinary local search work with an unusual subject, and it is the work we do for you: your Google Business Profile, your pages, your citations and a monthly report on where you rank inside your own radius.
Hemp shops around us call themselves dispensaries. Is there anything to be done about it?
Since 1 July 2024 a retailer selling consumable hemp may not represent itself as a dispensary of low-THC oil unless it holds a dispensing license. Enforcement is not your job, but the searches those shops have been catching are your business, so we open most Georgia engagements with an audit of who is using the word across the map you trade in: title tags, profile categories, listings. Then we take the positions that open up, and report the movement to you month by month.
How many competitors are we actually up against?
Fewer than the statewide number suggests. 82 dispensing locations were reported operating across Georgia in 2026, but a patient searching in your town never sees a pin from the far end of the state: the local pack is drawn around the person searching, so the fight that decides your year is the handful of counters inside your own radius. We count those on the demo call by drawing the rank grid for your trade area, and the guarantee is written to that grid, an agreed keyword set and an agreed radius, never to the state line. Terms apply.
Senate Bill 220 could put a counter in hundreds of pharmacies. Does that change what we do now?
It changes the timing, not the plan. Georgia's 400-plus independent pharmacies may now dispense, so the field you compete in can grow faster than the patient list ever will. A map position won before that happens is held cheaply afterwards; one bought later is bought against a full field. That is the whole argument for starting your keyword set, your profile and your rank grid this quarter rather than next year, and the top-three guarantee is written to that agreed keyword set and radius, with the terms on the table before you sign.
Book straight into the calendar. Bring your store count and your address; you leave the call with a quote scoped to your locations and the guarantee terms to read before you sign.
More markets
Other Georgia markets first, then the rest. Every market page is written to its own store count and its own map, and the guarantee is written to yours.
Where the doors are, by licensed medical cannabis dispensaries in operation (GMCC dispensing licensees): Atlanta 4, Evans 2, Marietta 2, Pooler 2, Athens 1, Columbus 1, Decatur 1, Macon 1, Milledgeville 1, Newnan 1, Smyrna 1, Stockbridge 1. Every number here is counted from Georgia Access to Medical Cannabis Commission (GMCC) — "Find Licensed Dispensaries" official dispensary map, cross-checked against GMCC "Verify A License" dispensing-license table, read 2026-09-10. If your city is on that list, the fight for its map is already running.
