Single-location dispensaries · multi-location dispensaries and MSOs · delivery dispensaries.
Nobody advertises a new cannabis buyer into existence in Florida. Adult use is not legal here, the state's treatment centers are the only lawful retailers, and their buyers are patients on an active list, so the sale you win is one another store lost. These are the figures that decide it, and our move on each.
Above, four clients’ day zero against the month, in Share of Local Voice: the share of the local pack a store holds for "Dispensary Near Me" across its trade area.
The 49 approved dispensing locations inside the county, and the split of 43 in Orlando, four in Winter Park and two in Apopka, are from the Florida Department of Health, Office of Medical Marijuana Use (OMMU) dispensing-location table, page modified 9 September 2026 and retrieved 10 September 2026, with every address checked against the US Census geocoder. The statewide counts of licensed treatment centers, and of the brands among them that hold a dispensing location, are OMMU's own, retrieved 9 September 2026. OMMU's own county column labels 51 rows Orange; the two that fall outside the county line, in Seminole and Lake, are excluded, so this counts physical locations approved to dispense rather than licenses, operators, applications or delivery. Population is the US Census Bureau's 2024 county population estimate. The sign and internet restrictions are Fla. Stat. 381.986(8)(h) and Rule 64-4.022 F.A.C. No county sales figure appears here, and no municipality is named as banning or allowing dispensing, because neither has been verified; the 2026 emergency-rule specifics are left out for the same reason.
49 approved dispensing locations. 43 of them in one city.
Orlando holds 43 of this county's approved dispensing locations, Winter Park four and Apopka two, so your rivals are not spread across a county of 1,533,646 residents; they are stacked into the search results you already appear in. A patient opens her phone, sees three stores above the map and taps one. Putting your pin in that three, for an agreed keyword set and radius, is what we guarantee in writing.
The county column is not the map.
The state's own location table labels 51 rows Orange County, and two of those doors open across the line in Seminole and Lake. Your patient's phone does not read a county column; it reads where she is standing. So we write your profile, your landing page and your citations to the place your door opens onto, not to a boundary no shopper can see, and report Share of Local Voice across a grid drawn around your own address.
A city here either shuts dispensing out, or cannot cap it.
Florida gives every municipality the same binary: shut dispensing out inside the line, or allow it with no ceiling on how many open and no location rule stricter than a pharmacy's. Nothing in between protects your catchment, so the doors sharing your search results can multiply without warning, and the only defense that holds is being one of the three the map shows first. That is the position your keyword set, radius and window are written to in our agreement.
Most dispensaries rent their marketing from four vendors and hope the pieces talk to each other. They rarely do.
Forty-three of this county's 49 approved dispensing locations sit inside Orlando, which means most of your rivals are contesting one city's search results rather than a county's, and paying one vendor for the listing, another for the menu, another for the texting and a fourth for the retainer buys you four invoices and no coordination in a contest decided by three pins.
You know the rules you sell under better than any agency does, so this page does not restate them. If you want the references, both are in the library: dispensary advertising rules by state and cannabis marketing compliance.
Your stack is rented from four vendors.
A marketplace listing, a menu vendor, a loyalty or SMS tool and a generic retainer, each with its own login. Fix: one platform (SGEN) and one agency, with the site, the menu and the campaigns in one place.
Local SEO is an upsell tier elsewhere.
The work that puts you in the local pack for "Dispensary Near Me" is often gated behind the top plan. Fix: ranking work is included from the first dollar. Localized on-page SEO, 100+ off-page profiles and Google Business Profile management are in both plans.
Menu traffic leaks to marketplaces.
A shopper who finds your store on a third-party listing is that listing’s customer. Fix: menu-connected SGEN sites keep the order on your domain, with staff updating the menu themselves.
Four invoices, four account managers.
Nobody owns the result. Fix: one point of contact, one monthly report showing what ran, what it cost and what it returned.
Web design and development are included — no separate build fee.
Local SEO, menu-connected websites, email, SMS and loyalty under one contract.
New Frontier Data (2026-06-21) put one operator’s cost per new customer at about $23. So we manage the channel that costs the least per visit: the local pack.
Our currency is Share of Local Voice (SoLV) for "Dispensary Near Me" — the share of local-pack visibility your store holds for that search across its trade area, reported with its window and case page.
The twelve services are the same in every market. What changes for you here is the scope: which city your keyword set is written to, how many doors already sit inside your search radius, what the monthly report measures, and the keyword set, radius and window your top-three guarantee is written into.
If you run one address.
Forty-three of this county's approved dispensing locations are inside Orlando, four are in Winter Park and two are in Apopka, and a patient searching from Apopka is never shown the Orlando three. So we write your keyword set, your landing page and your Google Business Profile to the city your door is actually in, draw the rank grid around your own radius rather than around the county line, and report Share of Local Voice across that grid every month, so you see which streets you are winning and which you are handing over. See marketing for the single-location dispensary.
If you run several across the county.
A treatment center with doors in Orlando, Winter Park and Apopka is fighting three separate contests, and one page for the brand averages all three into whichever door is strongest. You get one SGEN domain with a store selector, a page and a Google Business Profile per address, a citation set per address, and a monthly roll-up report from us with a row per address, so your quieter doors rank instead of disappearing into the flagship; the top-three guarantee is then written per location, to each address's own keyword set and radius. See marketing for multi-location dispensaries and MSOs.
Six ways this county decides which door a patient finds first, what each one costs you when she finds somebody else, and the move we make on it under a top-three guarantee scoped to your keyword set, radius and window. The guide behind each move is linked, if you want the method before the call.
Forty-three rivals in one city, three pins on one screen
Orlando holds 43 of this county's approved dispensing locations and Google still shows three of them above the map. Being the fourth-best profile in Orlando pays what being fortieth pays: nothing. Your primary category, your service list, your hours, your photos and every review answered are what decide which three a patient sees, and every one of them decays the month nobody works it. Google Business Profile management sits in both plans and we work yours every month, because that grid is the one your top-three guarantee is scoped to. See the guide: Google Business Profile for dispensaries.
The street was closed to you before you opened
Florida allows an MMTC one exterior sign carrying its name or approved logo, and nothing else a passer-by can see from the street; internet advertising has to clear Department approval before it runs. That deletes most of what a general agency would sell you and leaves the surfaces a patient chooses to open herself: the map, your listing, your site, your list. Those are the surfaces we sell, and we run the approval trail with you instead of handing you a creative brief and a compliance problem to solve on your own. See the guide: the cannabis marketing compliance guide.
One county, three cities, three different contests
The state's location table puts 43 of this county's doors in Orlando, four in Winter Park and two in Apopka, and a page written to "Orange County" competes for a search almost nobody runs. Your patient types the city she is in, or types nothing at all and lets the phone decide for her. So your site needs a page per address, written to the city that address sits in, with the county page sitting above them rather than instead of them. That is one architecture decision, made once in the build on your own SGEN domain, and it is the one most often got wrong. See the guide: the cannabis SEO guide.
You cannot open a second door on demand, so the site is the asset you can change
Florida licensed ten treatment centers to begin with and adds four more only when the active-patient count clears another 100,000, and every new dispensing address is approved one at a time. Growth here runs on somebody else's timetable. What is entirely yours is what happens after the tap: the pages, the menu integration and the load time on your own domain, where the order stays with you instead of with a marketplace. Both plans include that build with no separate build fee, and it is where every one of your pins sends the tap. See the guide: the dispensary website design guide.
An active patient list is the one audience nobody can outbid you for
Every buyer in this market is a patient on an active list rather than passing trade, which means she comes back on a schedule, and a patient who has already bought from you is the cheapest sale in the county to win a second time. With the street closed to you and paid placement narrow, the list you own is the one channel a better-capitalized rival cannot take away from you. The work is deliverability and segmentation rather than creative, and OUTREACH Email is the Enterprise module we run for it, wired to your menu-connected site so every send lands on a page that takes the order. See the guide: the dispensary email marketing playbook.
The second visit is a text message, and the consent decides whether it lands
A patient in this county can pick a different approved dispensing location next time, and forty-three of them sit in one city, so the second visit happens because you asked for it. Text does that better than any other channel and worse than any other channel when the consent is wrong, which is why the carrier rules, the quiet hours and the opt-in flow matter more than the copy does. OUTREACH SMS is the Enterprise module we run for it, tied to your menu-connected site, so a text lands on a page that takes the order rather than on a blocked number. See the guide: cannabis-friendly SMS platforms.

Do you guarantee rankings?
A written top-3 local ranking guarantee — Dispenza’s own offer; the keywords, radius and time window are set in your agreement (see terms). Terms apply. Ask for the guarantee terms on your demo call before you sign anything. The guarantee covers the local keyword set agreed for your trade area, over a defined window.
Which platform are the sites built on?
Built on SGEN — the platform every one of Dispenza’s 500+ dispensary sites runs on. SGEN is Dispenza’s in-house website platform, so the team that hosts your site is the team running your campaigns. Menu-connected sites are built to be updated by staff.
What does it cost?
Pricing is scoped to your locations and both plans above list every module in full, with the site build included and no separate build fee. A quote for your store count takes one demo call. See how pricing works.
Florida is medical only. Is there enough demand in Orange County to fight over?
There are 1,533,646 people in this county, and adult use is not legal in Florida, so your buyers are the active patients among them: a list rather than a crowd. That is the argument for local marketing, not against it — nobody is going to advertise a new buyer into existence here, so every patient who walks into a rival walked past you first. We measure the share of local searches you hold, month by month, and work the surfaces that decide it.
Our door is in Winter Park, not Orlando. Does the campaign change?
Yes, and it has to. The state's location table records four approved dispensing locations in Winter Park and two in Apopka against forty-three in Orlando, and a patient searching in Winter Park is shown Winter Park's three, not Orlando's. We write your keyword set, your landing page and your profile to the city your door is in, draw the rank grid around its own radius, and write the top-three guarantee to that grid; a campaign scoped to "Orange County" would be measuring a map your patients never see.
Can one address compete with a treatment center that holds locations across the state?
On the map, yes. Florida licenses 27 treatment centers for the whole state and only 23 brands hold a dispensing location between them, so the group beside you buys its marketing once at scale — and still has to win Winter Park's three pins with a Winter Park profile, a Winter Park page and Winter Park citations. That contest is decided address by address, which is where a single store beats a group, and it is why our top-three guarantee is written to your address, your keyword set and your radius rather than to a brand.
Florida restricts what we can advertise. Does that shrink what you can run for us?
It narrows the channels, not the work. One exterior sign is all the street gives you, and internet advertising needs Department approval before it runs, so what is left are the surfaces a patient opens herself: the map, your Google Business Profile, your site and your own list. Those are exactly the surfaces we sell, and we run the approval trail with you instead of handing you a creative brief. Every one of the twelve services we sell is built for a market that works this way.
Where is Dispenza based, and does that matter for an Orange County dispensary?
We keep offices in several markets and are opening more, and every client in the country is served by the same team. Nothing that moves an Orange County pin needs somebody standing in your store: it is done on your Google Business Profile, your citations, your site and your monthly report. What we need from you is your address, your radius and your keyword set, which is what we scope with you on the demo call before anything is signed.
Book straight into the calendar. Bring your store count and your address; you leave the call with a quote scoped to your locations and the guarantee terms to read before you sign.
More markets
Other Florida markets first, then the rest. Every market page is written to its own store count and its own map, and the guarantee is written to yours.
