Services

Twelve services from one cannabis marketing agency in Florida

Doors keep arriving in Florida and no marketing budget adds a patient to the certified list they all sell to, so share goes to whoever is found first and remembered longest. Twelve services do those two jobs for your store: three that rank it, four that build it, three that bring its patients back, two that keep score, and all twelve sit on one contract with one team behind them.

Florida's fight over a fixed list: 779 doors, 940,116 patients

Nobody in Florida creates a cannabis buyer. A patient is certified before she can shop at all, and every approved dispensing location in the state wants her, so the sale you win this month is one another store lost. Here is that fight, and our move on each figure.

Above, four clients’ day zero against the month, in Share of Local Voice: the share of the local pack a store holds for "Dispensary Near Me" across its trade area.

The dispensing-location count, the operator count, the concentration figures and the active-patient total are the Florida Department of Health, Office of Medical Marijuana Use (OMMU) update dated 28 August 2026, read on 9 September 2026; population is the US Census Bureau's Vintage 2024 estimate; the sign restriction is Fla. Stat. 381.986(8)(h). No county or city dispensing-location count appears here, because none has been verified against the OMMU location list.

779 doors, one certified list, no new demand.

The Office of Medical Marijuana Use counted 779 approved dispensing locations on 10 September 2026, and 940,116 Floridians certified to buy from them. That is your real market: a fixed list of patients who already know where they go. Growth here is a patient changing doors, and she changes doors the moment she searches and taps one of the three results the map gives her. Getting your pin into that three, for an agreed keyword set and radius, is what we guarantee.

A city either shuts dispensing out, or cannot limit it.

Florida gives your city two choices and no third: keep dispensing out, or allow it and lose the power to say how many arrive. Where you trade, that choice is made: the doors beside you multiply while your share of the same list falls. Three pack positions are all a phone shows, however many open. We hold your three with the profile, the citations and the on-page work, reported on a rank grid around your trade area.

27 operators. Four of them hold half the doors.

Florida's doors belong to 23 of the state's 27 licensed treatment centers, and the four largest run 398 of them. You will not outspend that, and on the map you do not have to: a local pack has three slots whether the pin beside yours belongs to a group with 170 locations or to you alone. Those slots are won on profile and on-page work, and the top-three guarantee we sell you is written to your keyword set and radius, never the state line.

Why a dispensary marketing agency should own the stack

Most dispensaries rent their marketing from four vendors and hope the pieces talk to each other. They rarely do.

Florida's 779 approved dispensing locations answer to just 23 of the state's 27 licensed treatment centers, and a city that allows them at all cannot cap how many more open, so the pressure on your share comes from groups that buy their marketing once and at scale, which is exactly why paying four separate vendors to answer it is the expensive way to fight.

You know the rules you sell under better than any agency does, so this page does not restate them. If you want the references, both are in the library: dispensary advertising rules by state and cannabis marketing compliance.

Your stack is rented from four vendors.

A marketplace listing, a menu vendor, a loyalty or SMS tool and a generic retainer, each with its own login. Fix: one platform (SGEN) and one agency, with the site, the menu and the campaigns in one place.

Local SEO is an upsell tier elsewhere.

The work that puts you in the local pack for "Dispensary Near Me" is often gated behind the top plan. Fix: ranking work is included from the first dollar. Localized on-page SEO, 100+ off-page profiles and Google Business Profile management are in both plans.

Menu traffic leaks to marketplaces.

A shopper who finds your store on a third-party listing is that listing’s customer. Fix: menu-connected SGEN sites keep the order on your domain, with staff updating the menu themselves.

Four invoices, four account managers.

Nobody owns the result. Fix: one point of contact, one monthly report showing what ran, what it cost and what it returned.

What is included

Web design and development are included — no separate build fee.

Local SEO, menu-connected websites, email, SMS and loyalty under one contract.

The number we manage to

New Frontier Data (2026-06-21) put one operator’s cost per new customer at about $23. So we manage the channel that costs the least per visit: the local pack.

Our currency is Share of Local Voice (SoLV) for "Dispensary Near Me" — the share of local-pack visibility your store holds for that search across its trade area, reported with its window and case page.

+45.59% 6mo INCREASE IN SOLV FOR "DISPENSARY NEAR ME"
Local search rank grid, before and after: red rank 20 plus pins on the left, green rank 1 pins on the right.

Your Florida store, scoped: what we actually run

The twelve services above are the same in every market. What changes for your store is the scope, and in Florida the scope is never the state: your keyword set, your radius and your monthly rank grid are drawn around the trade area your patients travel from, and the top-three guarantee is written to that same scope.

If you deliver to patients as well, bring that side of the operation to the demo call: we scope the service-area grid to the addresses you actually serve, and your keyword set and radius are drawn to match.

If you run one address.

One address is one map fight, and it is winnable on its own terms. Your store gets its own keyword set, its own Google Business Profile, its own citation set and its own rank grid across the radius your patients travel, with Share of Local Voice for "Dispensary Near Me" reported point by point every month. Florida's doors sit in a handful of large groups, so the useful question is never how you compare statewide, it is whether you hold the three slots inside your own radius, and that is the number our report leads with. See marketing for the single-location dispensary.

If you run several across the state.

Jacksonville, Tampa, Orlando, Miami and Tallahassee are five separate map fights, and a patient searching in one of them never sees your pin from another. So we mirror that shape for you: one SGEN domain with a location selector, a page and a Google Business Profile per address, a citation set per address, and a roll-up report carrying a row for every location, so the one holding share and the one quietly losing it are never averaged into a single line. The guarantee is written the same way, per location and per keyword set, never as one number for the group. See marketing for multi-location dispensaries and MSOs.

The guides, read for a Florida store on a fixed patient list

Your fight is a radius fight, not a state one: a patient searching in one Florida town never sees your pin in the next, and where your city allows dispensing at all it may not hold a new rival to location criteria stricter than the ones it applies to pharmacies. So the doors around you keep arriving on ordinary retail terms, and the three map slots they compete for do not multiply with them. These six guides answer what that costs you and what we do about it, and the offer stays what it is throughout: top three, written to an agreed keyword set and radius, guaranteed.

Order of operations when 779 doors share one list

Florida's 779 approved dispensing locations are all selling to the same certified list, so the only question that pays you is which of them a patient sees first. Local search answers it, and it answers in a fixed order: the profile, then the pages a patient actually types her way to, then the citations that make both credible, then the links. Run that out of order and you spend a year paying for work that cannot land yet. We run it in order for you, and the method is set out in full if you want it before the call. See the guide: the dispensary SEO guide.

The three slots a city cannot expand

A Florida city that allows dispensing at all is not able to cap how many open, so the number of doors around you can rise every quarter. The number of local-pack slots cannot: it is three today and three after the next opening. That makes the profile behind those slots the one piece of shelf space nobody can subdivide, and it is won on categories, hours, products, photos, questions, posts and the review replies most owners leave to chance. Your profile is ours to run and to report on every month. See the guide: Google Business Profile for dispensaries.

The street was taken away from you

Florida allows a treatment center one exterior sign carrying its name or approved logo, and no other advertising for your store may be visible from a public street or sidewalk. Online is no freer: internet advertising by a treatment center needs the Department's approval before it runs. Read as a rule that is a restriction; read as a budget, it tells you where your money cannot go before you waste a quarter finding out. It goes instead to the surfaces no sign law reaches: the local pack, your own site and menu, and the patients already on your list. Those are what we run for you on one contract. See the guide: dispensary advertising rules by state.

Four invoices against a group that runs 398 doors

The four largest treatment centers in Florida run 398 of the state's dispensing locations between them, and they buy their marketing the way any group that size does, once and at scale. If you pay a listing site, a menu tool, a texting platform and an agency separately, you are paying four margins for four systems that do not talk to each other, against a competitor paying one. What each rented piece costs is set out from dated third-party sources. Both of our plans put the site, the ranking work and the reporting on one contract, with the build included. See the guide: what dispensary marketing costs.

940,116 patients who renew, not 23.4 million shoppers

Florida is medical only: 940,116 people are on the state's active-patient list and certified to buy from you, and each of them remembers who treated her well the last time. That is a far smaller pool than the state's 23.4 million residents suggests, and a far more valuable one, because a patient who comes back every month is worth more than a stranger who never comes back at all. Points, tiers, an email list and an SMS list wired into your POS are the one asset a rival cannot rank away from you, because it is a relationship rather than a position. That retention layer is what separates our two plans. See the guide: the dispensary loyalty program guide.

The door count is tied to the patient count

Florida issues four more treatment-center licenses every time the patient list passes another hundred thousand, so the number of rivals you face is pinned by statute to the number of buyers there are to win. Budgeting for growth in a market built that way is budgeting for somebody else's growth. The plan that pays is share: local search first, the menu second, retention third, and one report that says what ran and what it returned. Both of our plans carry those on a single contract, and we sequence them for your store rather than handing you a checklist. See the guide: the dispensary marketing guide.

Frequently asked questions

Do you guarantee rankings?

A written top-3 local ranking guarantee — Dispenza’s own offer; the keywords, radius and time window are set in your agreement (see terms). Terms apply. Ask for the guarantee terms on your demo call before you sign anything. The guarantee covers the local keyword set agreed for your trade area, over a defined window.

Which platform are the sites built on?

Built on SGEN — the platform every one of Dispenza’s 500+ dispensary sites runs on. SGEN is Dispenza’s in-house website platform, so the team that hosts your site is the team running your campaigns. Menu-connected sites are built to be updated by staff.

What does it cost?

Pricing is scoped to your locations and both plans above list every module in full, with the site build included and no separate build fee. A quote for your store count takes one demo call. See how pricing works.

Florida is medical only. Is there enough demand here to fight over?

There is a fixed amount of it, which is the whole point. 940,116 Floridians are certified to buy, and not one of them is created by marketing: she is certified by a physician and then chooses a door. Since nobody is making more patients, every point of share you gain is a point another store lost, and the cheapest place to take it is the local pack, because three results are what a phone shows first. That is the work we sell, and it is the work the top-three guarantee covers, scoped to an agreed keyword set and radius.

The big operators here run dozens of locations. Can one address compete?

On the map, yes, and that is the field where the answer is yes. A local pack has three slots, and it fills them from what a searcher is near and what a profile and a site can prove, not from how many locations a group owns statewide. So a single address with complete categories, real product pages and a clean citation set outranks a much larger neighbor more often than owners expect. We do that work and report it point by point, and you can hold us to the ranking, which is what the guarantee is for: an agreed keyword set, radius and window, terms in the agreement.

A new dispensary just opened beside us. What do you actually do?

Nothing about that is unusual in Florida, where a city that allows dispensing cannot limit how many arrive, so the door count around you rises while nobody's marketing adds a patient to the certified list you both sell to. What we do is treat the pack as the scarce thing it is: we rebuild your profile and your pages against the phrases your patients actually search, tighten the citations, and draw a rank grid across your radius so you can see, point by point, whether the new arrival is taking your visibility or only your parking. Then we report that to you every month.

Florida limits what we can advertise. Does that shrink what you can run?

It changes where the money goes, not how much of it works. With almost nothing allowed on the street, the surfaces that decide a Florida patient's next visit are the ones you own outright: the local pack your store sits in, the site and menu she lands on, and the email, SMS and loyalty that bring her back. Most of our twelve services live on those surfaces and none of them depends on a sign. We run them on one contract and report what each returned, so you can see which surface is feeding the till.

What makes you different from a general marketing agency?

We work with dispensaries and nothing else, and we own the platform your site runs on, so the team hosting it is the team ranking it, on one contract instead of four vendors blaming each other. In a state that lets you put almost nothing on the street, that matters more than it does elsewhere: your site, your profile and your list are the whole shop window. The ranking work carries a written top-three local ranking guarantee, scoped to an agreed keyword set, radius and window. Terms apply.
