Nothing anyone spends adds a person to the list of people allowed to buy cannabis here, so the patient walking into somebody else's dispensary is one who could have been yours. Below, that fight in figures, and our move on each.
Above, four clients’ day zero against the month, in Share of Local Voice: the share of the local pack a store holds for "Dispensary Near Me" across its trade area.
The 56 approved dispensing locations, the 16 operating brands and the municipality-by-municipality split are counted from the Florida Department of Health, Office of Medical Marijuana Use (OMMU) dispensing-location table, retrieved 10 September 2026: 56 of the 779 rows statewide, reconciling to the total of 779 in the OMMU Weekly Update of 4 September 2026. An earlier reading of the same table gave West Palm Beach a rounder approximate figure and a statewide total one lower; the dated recount supersedes both, and the earlier pair is not repeated here. These are locations approved to dispense, not licenses: Florida licenses 27 vertically integrated Medical Marijuana Treatment Centers, 23 of which hold at least one location, and OMMU publishes no open or not-yet-open flag, so the figure is an upper bound on the doors trading today. No county patient count is published and none is stated here, so no share of the county's population is claimed. The binary local-control rule, the pharmacy-parity limit, the 500-foot school setback, the escalating license cap and the single-sign advertising restriction are Fla. Stat. 381.986(11)(b), (11)(c), (8)(h) and its licensure provisions; the OMMU pre-approval requirement for internet advertising comes from the same section and Rule 64-4.022 F.A.C., and the source record extends that requirement to treatment-center websites and mobile apps only through a secondary analysis it marks as unverified, so no such claim is made here. The county's unincorporated-area moratorium is recorded as imposed while zoning was worked out under the 2017 law; its current status was not re-verified, and no municipal ban inside the county was verified either, so no city here is described as closed. No county sales figure exists in the source record and none is stated.
56 approved dispensing locations, run by 16 brands.
The largest county market in Florida, and it feeds on a pool the state sets rather than one your budget can grow: Florida allows medical use only, and treatment centers are its sole lawful sellers. Nothing here creates a buyer, it only moves her, and she moves when she searches and taps one of the three results a phone shows. Putting your pin in that three, for an agreed keyword set and radius, is what we guarantee in writing.
Where the 56 sit: 19 in West Palm Beach, ten in Boynton Beach.
Boca Raton and Lake Worth hold seven each, Delray Beach four, and eleven municipalities hold all 56 between them; the county imposed a moratorium on dispensing in its unincorporated areas while it worked out zoning. The pack is drawn around where your patient stands rather than around a county, so your contest is the doors within reach of your address, not all 56. We write your keyword set, your page and your Google Business Profile to the city your door opens onto, not to the county line.
The door count can rise. The map still shows three.
Your city had a binary choice and made it: ban dispensing outright, or allow it and lose the power to cap how many arrive. The state then adds four more treatment-center licenses within six months of each hundred-thousand-patient milestone, so the rivals chasing your customers are written to multiply while the three pack slots on a phone are not. We hold your three with the profile, the citations and the on-page work, on a rank grid reported around your store monthly.
Most dispensaries rent their marketing from four vendors and hope the pieces talk to each other. They rarely do.
Sixteen brands hold this county's 56 approved dispensing locations and nineteen of those sit in West Palm Beach alone, so the pin next to yours usually belongs to a group that buys its marketing once and at scale, and renting your listing, your menu, your texting and your retainer from four vendors that never speak to each other is how one storefront pays four times over to lose a single map position.
You know the rules you sell under better than any agency does, so this page does not restate them. If you want the references, both are in the library: dispensary advertising rules by state and cannabis marketing compliance.
Your stack is rented from four vendors.
A marketplace listing, a menu vendor, a loyalty or SMS tool and a generic retainer, each with its own login. Fix: one platform (SGEN) and one agency, with the site, the menu and the campaigns in one place.
Local SEO is an upsell tier elsewhere.
The work that puts you in the local pack for "Dispensary Near Me" is often gated behind the top plan. Fix: ranking work is included from the first dollar. Localized on-page SEO, 100+ off-page profiles and Google Business Profile management are in both plans.
Menu traffic leaks to marketplaces.
A shopper who finds your store on a third-party listing is that listing’s customer. Fix: menu-connected SGEN sites keep the order on your domain, with staff updating the menu themselves.
Four invoices, four account managers.
Nobody owns the result. Fix: one point of contact, one monthly report showing what ran, what it cost and what it returned.
Web design and development are included — no separate build fee.
Local SEO, menu-connected websites, email, SMS and loyalty under one contract.
New Frontier Data (2026-06-21) put one operator’s cost per new customer at about $23. So we manage the channel that costs the least per visit: the local pack.
Our currency is Share of Local Voice (SoLV) for "Dispensary Near Me" — the share of local-pack visibility your store holds for that search across its trade area, reported with its window and case page.
The twelve services are the same in every market; what changes for your store is the scope, and here that scope is a city rather than a county line. Your keyword set, your radius, your monthly rank grid and the top-three guarantee written to them are drawn around the municipality your door opens onto.
If you also deliver to patients from your approved location, bring that side of the operation to the demo call: we scope the service-area grid and the keyword set to the places you actually serve rather than to a footprint nobody publishes.
If you run one approved location.
West Palm Beach carries 19 of the county's approved dispensing locations, Boynton Beach ten, Boca Raton and Lake Worth seven apiece, and the three pins a patient sees are chosen around the address she searches from rather than around the county. So you get your own keyword set, Google Business Profile and citation set, and a rank grid drawn around the city you trade in, with Share of Local Voice reported point by point every month. You will not out-spend the brands holding several of these doors, and on a three-slot map you do not have to: the slots go to the profile and the pages that prove themselves, and that is the work we sell you. See marketing for the single-location dispensary.
If you run several across the county.
Delray Beach, Jupiter, Wellington and West Palm Beach are four separate map fights, and averaging them into one line hides the location quietly losing share while the flagship covers for it. You get one SGEN domain with a store selector, a page and a Google Business Profile per approved location, a citation set per address, and our roll-up report carrying a row for every door, so the one gaining and the one slipping are both visible in the same month. Sixteen brands share this county's locations and the larger ones buy their marketing centrally, at scale; one contract and one team is how you answer that without paying four vendors to argue with each other. See marketing for multi-location dispensaries and MSOs.
Six figures from this county, what each one costs you at the till, and the move we make on it. Packed as they are, the competition that decides your month sits inside your own city limits rather than somewhere across the county line, and each read links the guide behind it if you want the method before the demo call.
There is no county pack, only your city's
A patient in Boca Raton gets the Boca Raton three; a patient in West Palm Beach, where 19 of the county's approved locations sit, gets a different three. Seven approved in Boca Raton, seven in Lake Worth, ten in Boynton Beach: that is how crowded your real contest is, and every one of those pins is only as strong as the profile behind it. Google Business Profile management sits in both plans, worked monthly, with primary category, product and service lists, hours, photos, questions and every review answered, so your pin is one the city's three cannot leave out. That grid is what your top-three guarantee is written to, with its keyword set, radius and window in the agreement. See the guide: Google Business Profile for dispensaries.
Eleven municipalities, one site, a page for each city you trade in
All 56 of the county's approved locations sit inside eleven municipalities, from West Palm Beach and Boynton Beach down to Greenacres, North Palm Beach, Tequesta and Wellington, and the county put a moratorium on dispensing in its unincorporated areas while it worked out zoning. A page written to the county name is therefore competing for a map nobody searches, because your patient types the name of the city she is standing in. Your site needs a page for each location, written to that location's own city, with the county page sitting over them rather than instead of them. We make that call in the build, on your own SGEN domain, before the first phrase is chased. See the guide: the cannabis SEO guide.
Every ad, website and app clears the Department before it runs
Florida allows your store one exterior sign carrying its name or approved logo, and bars every other advertisement for it that a public street or sidewalk can see. Online is not looser: every paid or targeted advertisement you run there needs the Department's approval before it goes live. Read as a rule that is a restriction; read as a budget it tells you where your money can and cannot go before you spend a quarter finding out. What no sign rule reaches is the map pack, the site and menu you own, and the patients already on your list, and those are the surfaces we run for you on one contract. See the guide: the cannabis marketing compliance guide.
Florida approves the address; the site is the part you can still move
Florida licenses the company rather than the shop: one vertically integrated treatment center holds the license and then collects dispensing approvals one address at a time. So the door you trade from is settled long before marketing gets a say, and everything deciding whether a tap becomes a sale sits on the far side of it, in the pages, the menu integration and the load time a patient meets after she picks your pin. That part is yours outright and can change this quarter. Both plans include the build on your own SGEN domain with no separate build fee, and every pin you hold points at it. See the guide: the dispensary website design guide.
Sixteen brands, one patient, every single month
Sixteen brands share the county's approved locations, and a patient in Boynton Beach with ten of those doors inside her own city has no particular reason to keep choosing you unless you give her one. Medical buying is repeat buying: she comes back on a schedule, and she comes back to the store that remembered her. Points, tiers and a list wired into your point of sale are the one asset a rival cannot rank away from you, because it is a relationship rather than a map position. That retention layer is what separates our two plans, and we report what it returns beside what the ranking work returns, month by month. See the guide: the dispensary loyalty program guide.
With the street closed, the list you own is the channel
One exterior sign is all your store gets on the street, so the second visit has to be asked for somewhere else, and text asks better than anything and worse than anything when the consent behind it is wrong. Carrier rules, quiet hours and the opt-in flow matter more here than the copy does, and the page a text lands on is the same site your approved advertising points at, so the two are built together rather than in sequence. OUTREACH SMS is the Enterprise module we run for that, wired into your menu-connected site, so a message lands on a page that takes the order rather than on a blocked number. See the guide: cannabis-friendly SMS platforms.

Do you guarantee rankings?
A written top-3 local ranking guarantee — Dispenza’s own offer; the keywords, radius and time window are set in your agreement (see terms). Terms apply. Ask for the guarantee terms on your demo call before you sign anything. The guarantee covers the local keyword set agreed for your trade area, over a defined window.
Which platform are the sites built on?
Built on SGEN — the platform every one of Dispenza’s 500+ dispensary sites runs on. SGEN is Dispenza’s in-house website platform, so the team that hosts your site is the team running your campaigns. Menu-connected sites are built to be updated by staff.
What does it cost?
Pricing is scoped to your locations and both plans above list every module in full, with the site build included and no separate build fee. A quote for your store count takes one demo call. See how pricing works.
My store is in Boynton Beach, not West Palm Beach. Does the campaign change?
Yes, and it should. The state's location table puts ten approved dispensing locations in Boynton Beach and 19 in West Palm Beach, and those are two different maps, because the pack is drawn around the patient rather than around the county. We write your keyword set, your landing page and your Google Business Profile to the city your store actually trades in, draw the rank grid around it, and write the top-three guarantee to that grid and its window. A campaign scoped to the county line would be measuring a map your patients never see.
Our online advertising has to clear OMMU first. Does that slow the work down?
It shapes the calendar, not the plan. Every paid or targeted online advertisement needs the Department's approval before it runs, so we build your campaign assets to go into that queue once rather than three times, and we run the surfaces that do not wait on it, your Google Business Profile, your citations and your on-page work, while the rest clears. It is a review workflow rather than a creative brief, and planning around it is most of the difference between a dispensary-only agency and a general one.
A new dispensary can open two doors down. Is anyone able to stop it?
Not once the city has said yes. Florida gives each county and municipality a binary choice: keep dispensing out of its boundaries altogether, or allow it and give up the power to cap how many open, and a place that allows it may not apply siting criteria stricter than the ones it uses for pharmacies, beyond the 500-foot school setback the statute requires unless the city approves the site in a public proceeding. So the doors around you can multiply and the three pack slots on a phone cannot. We treat those slots as the scarce thing they are, with the profile, the citations and the on-page work behind them, and a rank grid that shows you month by month whether a new arrival took your visibility or only your parking.
Sixteen brands hold the locations here. Why would one address win the map?
Because a local pack has three slots whether the pin beside yours belongs to one of the county's larger brands or to you alone. Those slots are filled from what a patient is near and from what a profile and a site can prove, not from how many doors a brand runs statewide, so one address with complete categories, real product pages and a clean citation set outranks a much bigger neighbor more often than owners expect. You can hold us to that: the top-three guarantee is written to your keyword set, your radius and a window, with the terms in the agreement.
Do we need an agency with an office in Palm Beach County?
No, and we do not claim one here. Our home office is in Las Vegas and we keep offices in other markets. Every client in the country is served by the same team, and the work that moves a Palm Beach County pin happens on your Google Business Profile, your citations, your site and your monthly report, none of which needs anyone standing behind your counter. What it does need from you is the city you trade in and the phrases your patients type, which is what we scope with you on the demo call.
Book straight into the calendar. Bring your store count and your address; you leave the call with a quote scoped to your locations and the guarantee terms to read before you sign.
More markets
Other Florida markets first, then the rest. Every market page is written to its own store count and its own map, and the guarantee is written to yours.
